Today we are pleased to present to you Christoph Niemann. An award winning illustrator, author and artist, his has been featured on the cover of The New Yorker, Time, Wired, The New York Times Magazine and American Illustration.
With clients such as Google, Amtrak, Herman Miller and the Museum of Modern Art, Niemann demonstrates by example what staying true to your craft, liberating yourself from mental boundaries and a bit of practice can do for your career.
Speaking in a recent 99U talk, the artist shared the three biggest fears he encountered in his career as well as the solutions he developed for them.
He has drawn live from the Venice Art Biennale, the Olympic Games in London, The 2012 Republican Convention and he has drawn the New York City Marathon — while actually running it.
But as always, we let the artist’s work speak for him not the other way around.
